Ecosystems throughout the globe are put under continued pressure. Planetary boundaries for our global ecosystems are crossed and there is an urgent need to identify alternative pathways towards a sustainable development.
The break-away from the current development path requires multiple transformations at different scales. We need to develop technical, social and cultural solution pathways towards a just and sustainable future globally and we need a new understanding of how the environmental crisis translates into societal transformations.
In this panel, there will be presented research under the overall theme of industrial and corporate transition processes.
This panel session brings engaged scholars together to exchange theoretical perspectives, methodological strategies, and empirical findings on some of the most pressing issues of our time.
This panel (scientific talks) has an academic format in which researchers present their ongoing work. The primary purpose is to allow researchers to get feedback from their peers and the present audience. The form is the following: The researchers who have submitted a paper beforehand present their work. After each presentation and at the end of the whole session there will be room for discussion. Everyone is welcome to participate. However, since it is a space for academic reflection, we ask everyone to be seated a few minutes before the panel starts and stay for the whole session. This way, we will minimise distractions and help hold a focus on the conversation at hand. Presenting participants have priority.
The language used in this event is English.
