GRASP takes place in the Musicon district of Roskilde. We encourage all participants, speakers and guests to choose sustainable modes of transport to and from the festival.
Cycling is the fastest, easiest and most climate-friendly way to get to the festival site.
Dedicated bike parking: There are permanent bike racks and designated parking areas right by the entrance and in close proximity to all festival venues in Musicon.
Good cycling routes: If you are coming from Roskilde Station, it takes less than 5 minutes to cycle here via Køgevej/Rabalderstræde. There are also direct cycle paths from across Roskilde and the surrounding area.
Park your bike in the designated racks, remember your lights for the journey home, and help keep the festival’s transport footprint as low as possible.
Parking options in Musicon are limited, so we recommend taking the train to Roskilde Station and starting your day with a pleasant walk of approximately 15 minutes to Musicon.
You can also take a bus (e.g. routes 201A or 202A) directly from Roskilde Station towards Musicon. Get off at the Musicon bus stop, from where it is just a 2–3 minute walk (less than 200 metres) to the entrance.
Both the bus routes from the station and the festival access routes in Musicon are step-free and suitable for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.
If you do need to travel by car, we encourage carpooling to reduce the festival’s carbon footprint. You can find more information about parking options on Roskilde Municipality’s website.
Check-in and access
When you arrive at Musicon, you must check in and collect your wristband at the reception at the Museum of Pop Culture (RAGNAROCK), Rabalderstræde 16, Musicon, 4000 Roskilde.
We recommend having your ticket ready as a digital QR code when you arrive to help reduce queues at the reception.
Check-in is open from 8:30–17:00 on Thursday and Friday and 10:00–17:00 on Saturday.
Once you have received your wristband, you are free to move between the different venues. All stages are located indoors.
At the GRASP Kiosk, you can buy a small selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as a few sweet treats.
There is a water station at the festival site, so we encourage you to bring your own water bottle. You can also buy water at the kiosk.
On Thursday and Friday, our partner Mad med Mening will be serving delicious vegetarian and vegan lunch. To avoid food waste, we try to adjust the amount of food to demand. If lunch sells out, you can also buy food from local vendors in the Musicon area.

All stages operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so some stages and rooms may reach capacity. If this happens, we encourage you to explore the many other exciting events in the programme. See the full GRASP 2026 programme.

On Thursday, 1 October, we invite you to a communal dinner from 5:30–8:00 pm in collaboration with Meyers. The evening begins with chef and food entrepreneur Claus Meyer, who will share reflections on organic food, local food production and the relationship between urban and rural communities.
This will be followed by a specially curated menu designed for sharing around the long tables. During dinner, you can also experience Uldværk by Hedestrik, created together with participants at Roskilde Festival through felting and folk dancing.
The communal dinner is an opportunity to meet other festival participants over a shared meal and continue the day’s conversations in Hall 7.
