- Friday 26 September
A brave and determined primary school teacher secretly exposes Putin’s aggressive militarisation of Russia’s schools in the award-winning documentary Mr. Nobody Against Putin. The result is one of the year’s most striking documentaries – a shocking and deeply personal insight into how propaganda takes root as early as the classroom.
The film is both timely and deeply relevant in an era where misinformation and fake news shape our perception of reality. Following the screening, the audience is invited to join a conversation with THE WHY Foundation’s co-founder and CEO Mette Hoffmann Meyer and the film’s producer Helle Faber. Together, they will discuss how disinformation spreads and how documentary films can reveal truths that would otherwise remain hidden.
Participants
- Mette Hoffmann Meyer, Denmark, CEO at THE WHY Foundation
- Helle Faber, Denmark, Producer and founder of Made in Copenhagen
This session is presented by THE WHY Foundation and OpEn – the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Information and Engagement Fund.
