GRASP Festival 2026

SCROLL DOWN

Three days of new ideas, conversations, art, and action for the future.

GRASP Festival brings together artists, researchers, practitioners, young voices, and curious participants around the questions shaping our shared future. In 2026, the festival expands to three days, inviting more than 2,000 participants into a vibrant program with 50+ talks, art experiences, workshops, and experimental formats.

This year’s theme is Future Hope an insistence on hope as a driving force for a better, more responsible, and more just future.

In a time marked by crises and major transformations, we explore how hope becomes action. How we imagine alternative paths. How we take responsibility for future generations. And how we create the future together.

Registration for GRASP Festival 2026 costs 100 DKK and gives access to three days of talks, art, conversations, and participatory formats.

Experience three perspectives

The festival program unfolds across three perspectives that open different pathways into this year’s theme, Future Hope. These perspectives intersect and create connections between art, knowledge, and practice.

Here, you can move between conversations, experiences, and formats that both challenge and guide: from local communities to global systems – from concrete actions to the ideas that make action possible.

The three perspectives give you an overview of the program and an entry point for exploring across themes, formats, and experiences.

Together for the Future

How do we create communities where more people can participate – and belong?

In the Together for the Future perspective, you are invited into conversations and experiences that explore how we build stronger, more open, and inclusive communities. Here, you encounter perspectives on equality, care, and accessibility – not as ideals, but as something we actively create together.

Through art, universal design, dialogue, and participatory formats, we open spaces for presence, empathy, and new ways of being together. You may be challenged in your own assumptions about community, gain concrete tools for working with inclusion in your own practice, and experience how small changes can make a big difference.

Action for the Planet

How do we turn hope into action for the planet?

In the Action for the Planet perspective, you enter conversations and experiences where ambitions become concrete actions. You meet researchers, practitioners, and changemakers working with everything from circular solutions and sustainable construction to new ways of producing and consuming.

Through talks, cases, and workshops, you gain insight into what green transition looks like in practice – and what it takes to create real change. At the same time, you are invited to reflect on your own choices and habits, and how they connect to the larger systems we are part of.

Forestillinger om i morgen

Imagining Tomorrow

How do we build a future that serves coming generations?

In Imagining Tomorrow, we place imagination at the center and make room for new voices, perspectives, and ways of thinking about the future. Here, you meet artists, young people, and knowledge actors who work with imagination as an active force in societal change.

Through artistic formats, conversations, and experiments, you are invited to see the world differently – and to imagine for yourself what the future could look like. What happens when we dare to think bigger, freer, and more radically – and begin to act on it?

This Year’s Programme

The programme will be published continuously leading up to the festival.

Here, you can explore talks, artistic formats, workshops, and conversations that offer new perspectives on this year’s theme and the questions we are facing.

New names and programme elements are added on an ongoing basis, so there is always something new to discover. You can curate your own festival experience across formats and interests – and find the experiences that resonate most with you.

Your Festival Experience

GRASP Festival is not a fixed route, but an experience you help shape.

Over three days, you move between talks, conversations, and artistic formats where new ideas are challenged, nuanced, and put into play. You can listen, participate, ask questions, and take part in workshops where knowledge meets practice – and where perspectives are translated into concrete actions.

Along the way, you meet researchers, artists, practitioners, and young voices who bring new insights and experiences into play – and you become part of a community where curiosity, dialogue, and engagement are at the center.

GRASP Festival is an opportunity to be inspired, but also to take something with you: new ideas, new connections, and new ways of acting in your own everyday life and practice.
