Phie Ambo is one of Denmark’s most prominent documentary filmmakers and a powerful voice in communicating the climate and biodiversity crisis. Her previous films include Så meget godt i vente about sustainable farming, 70/30 about the creation of Denmark’s Climate Act, and Organiseret Vildskab about rewilding in Hammer Bakker.
This autumn, her new documentary Fire, Water, Earth, Air premieres – a film about climate change in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and the Faroe Islands. In collaboration with local filmmakers, Ambo tells stories from all four countries about the changes already affecting the Nordic region: forest fires, storms, landslides, and floods – and how we must adapt to a world in transition.
At this year’s GRASP, students from Roskilde Festival Højskole host a panel discussion with Phie Ambo. The session includes exclusive clips from the upcoming documentary.
