Sustainable development and climate change are global challenges. Youth from all over the world experience, learn about, connect with each other and act on these challenges using social media. This interactive lecture presents findings from a project researching youth in Denmark and Tanzania and how they engage with sustainable development and climate change. We will focus especially on the role of social media and to what extent young people feel that they are part of global action in relation to these challenges. The lecturers will present findings from their research and the audience will work together in groups on topics related to the presentations.
