We are at a crossroads in history, where profound change is needed—especially for the sake of future generations.
This is the focal point when GRASP visits Thoravej 29 as part of its opening program, "29 Dage på Thoravej 29."
Join us for a conversation where we delve into the question: Is it even possible to set aside personal interests and make decisions that do not benefit ourselves directly? Does the utopian decision exist in today’s political landscape? And can we foster courage among the politicians who must make these decisions on behalf of both us and future generations?
The discussion will be driven by a diverse panel and moderated by Naima Yasin, Head of Secretariat at SAGA—an independent, non-partisan youth organization dedicated to engaging and representing young people in democracy. Learn more about the panelists below.
In addition to the conversation, the artist duo Baum & Leahy will guide us into future utopias through a sensory meditation and a writing exercise. This part will be in English. Baum & Leahy are exhibiting their work Pantopia in Snart – Laboratory for Possible Futures, which can also be experienced at Thoravej 29 on the day. Pantopia was developed in collaboration with young people from NGOs in Flokkr Lab for Roskilde Festival and GRASP.
Time and Place: April 10, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Thoravej 29, 2400 Copenhagen NV, on Scenen.
