Call for Rest

FRIDAY 26 SEPTEMBER

Finding hope, healing, and connection through rest

  • Friday 26 September
    13:00, RoFH: Dansesalen

Rest can enable us to imagine, nurture, and dream of something else. And rest is urgently needed in our over-exhausted, over-stimulated, accelerated environments.

If we really believe that unlimited growth is not sustainable or possible, if we truly seek to know differently and strive for regenerative ways of being, we need to rest. We need to rest more, and in spite of!

In this panel, we will (re)learn to support, share, and cultivate rest; as a form of healing, a way of (un)knowing and being with the world, as a way of allowing hopes and dreams to manifest.

We ask: How do we bring about rest-full states, and rest-full ways of relating? How do we deal with inequalities and differences in access to and needs of rest? How do we rest in ways that enact solidarity and connectedness, also with other species and more-than-human entities?
